Multimedia Creations is an evolvement of Theater Creations, the first company created by Nancy Klocke Lorcalon. In no small part to reflect swiftly changing technology; final products of various teaching started to include videos and other non-performance creations.
The new name also reflected Nancy's own diversifying artistry and requests for classes in such. Learning about fabric dyeing and painting, and how well silks worked in that launched a whole new area of fabric addiction. (And of course supplemented quilting and the ever present fabric stash). Happily creative in a new area, this launched a craft fair effort which has been worth continuing to date.
And if enough people suggest some of your work is worth selling, they'll say it about some of your other work.... Hence the links above. Thanks to everyone at fairs and events who help determine what's best to sell all the time. It's good to keep learning and trying new things. Particularly for teachers. Not that we aren't always learning from our students, but just being the student/learner/explorer is important too. And fun, don't forget the fun.
Don't most people find it to answer in one-box fashion when someone asks, "So what do you do?"
Aren't we all wearing several hats, doing many jobs, have different facets to ourselves?
If you say "artist", do people always assume you paint? On canvases?
Multimedia Creations believes that everyone is creative, in different ways. Business, science, machinery, engineering, and all other areas are by no means exempt from creativity! There are creative people who work with all kinds of media, even media you can't touch, or can't see without help.
